i mean capital is just an activity you can do w/ money, so on the one hand "accelerating" and "improving" the ability to capitalize and regulate it as a consistent circuit can be true while at the same time the confidence necessary to maintain the underlying motivating value could for sure be running on fumes. these are not mutually exclusive situations no matter what anyone wants you to think

i get the desire to think that we live in the final collapse but a system built to externalize its failures onto the masses is always going to have a lot of staying power. hell, the US hasn't even protected it via straight up mass-scale authoritarianism since the early 1900s, we still have that whole strategy to dig into if we need it!

Yeah it’s running just as intended and can keep it up for a long time once we figure out how to take gold out of asteroids or some dumb bullshit
