So I guess we're not gonna get an OKNOTOK style release for Kid A's 20th anniversary?
What became of her? She lived, as she liked to say, off the kindness of gentlemen. I assume she’s dead.

there was an interview about a year ago or maybe less (possibly during the Anima press cycle) where Thom talked about coming across all these old Kid A recording sessions, demos, etc. He mentioned that there was a huge amount of material and it would take a long time to go through so I definitely think we will be getting an awesome re-release, but they probably just couldn't get the timing right to coincide with the 20th anniversary.

i would also be down for them to utilize their "library" with ongoing uploads as they start reviewing all the old material, with an official expanded ediction release down the road...

from a recent interview with Ed:

‘Will you guys be doing anything to mark 20 years of ‘Kid A’ and Amnesiac’ this year and next?

“Due to the nature of it, I can’t fully reveal anything – but there have been talks about ways of doing something. Everything gets thrown up in the air with coronavirus, so a lot of ideas are being mooted. It would be nice to honour it, but then there’s the struggle – how can you get that excited about an album that came out 20 years ago? I can’t. I’m thankful it was a moment and know that it means a lot to people, but it was a long time ago.”’

not that I have any business caring about an aging rocker's life but it's fucking weird that he married his GF and not the mother of his two children he was with for nearly two decades back when she was alive. like wtf must his kids think about this

A lamp with a white shade was knocked over and broken. Someone was smoking pot. “This is the pot room!” a young man said.
