it always takes me a few listens to sort out how i feel about an album, but this return to bends-form is kind of amazing.

i'm not really looking forward to the months of annoying discussion that come with a new radiohead album.

the cover looks like Radiohead fanart. not that it really matters. wonder when they'll release a tracklist, i feel a little weird buying an album without knowing what the tracklist is.

i'm not really sold on the cover, it's a few transparent layers of artwork they've had on their site for a while already.

the only real problem i have, is anytime they do fan service by recording an old song for a new album, they never quite seem to capture the magic of the live versions of the past. the song on this record is definitely no exception, but it still sounds alright and meshes well with the flow of the record i suppose.

also, for those who care:

The new Radiohead album The King Of Limbs will be on general release on CD and 12” vinyl in all music stores and digital retailers from March 28th. As with their previous album ‘In Rainbows’ the band will partner with XL Recordings (TBD Records in the USA & Canada and Hostess Entertainment in Japan & Asia).

Still, whoever would have expected they finally cave and record "Lift"?
