jk bros:
I think this italian writer (referred to here) has, either through over-enthusiasm, or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little....in fact we haven't quite finished the album - in the studio at the moment - nor have we yet considered any touring. The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished....hope that's a little clearer!

does anyone else get annoyed that thom yorke always 'wavers' his voice around and never just holds a note? I think its called vibrato or tremolo or some shit. it's the main reason I stopped listening to radiohead

i remember my mom once mentioned how vocal vibrato occasionally irritated her. of course she was talking about whitney houston as compared to barbara streisand, both of whom she really likes, but it's always stuck with me

normally vibrato as theatrical as Thom's is annoying, but this is one of the few cases where I feel like it belongs.

if i went solely on twitter posts i'd have said this album was going to drop every week for the past few months.

http://consequenceofsound.net/2011/01/27/gilles-peterson-on-new-radiohead-album-its-done-i-believe/In news not derived via Google Translate, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke recently made an appearance at The Worldwide Awards 2011, where he presented Flying Lotus with the award for Album of the Year. As you can see in the video below (via Some Kind of Awesome), BBC 1′s Gilles Peterson caught up with the two men shortly after the presentation. What you don’t see, however, is the news that Yorke apparently shared with Peterson at some other point during the evening.
“I think we’re just lucky that Radiohead are having some free time at the moment. And Thom was just hanging out. He enjoyed himself. And there’s a new Radiohead album if you’re wondering. Just done I believe,” Peterson said during his Worldwide Awards highlights show on BBC 1.
