Same here. Even Dawn Chorus is kinda of blah.

for me so far the final 2 tracks are the weakest on the album so i'm curious to hear what the vinyl closer is

my kids were really into the short on netflix this morning. i picked my 6yo daughter up from camp an hour ago and Traffic came on and she said 'daddy, this is the dancing song from the movie this morning! i love this music and the singing. this is my new favorite singer!'
so, you know. i win at parenting.

im not sure if this stoinks or not
stoinks is probly a strong word in this case
pleasant enough but will probly forget this came out
slightly surprised by the BNM - pretty solid 7ish tranche for me. maybe the BNM from 2019 p4k means it was a good week of press lol

i'm not saying it's particularly trippy, just like, he's really stuck on this vibe. like "close your eyes, and get ready, guys"

I got absolutely zero “retail therapy” emotional boost and it absolutely confirmed that buying things is an empty and reflexive genuflection to a hyper consumerist capitalist system that has indoctrinated me.

I’m speechless after watching it just now. Got chills during Dawn Chorus. The visuals and choreography on it are unreal. Excited for more PTA/Head collaborations in the future If they keep happening.

Absolutely.
I only got a chance to listen to the album once this morning on a walk but looking forward to listening to it again on my morning walk tomorrow.

The short made me feel really good about finally buying a 4K TV.
It was really refreshing to see Thom in such a personal light.

I guess I've written so many hundreds of words about 'head related stuff in the past I can't be bothered giving a real lengthy appraisal of this album
after a few listens it sounds very cool, and would make excellent soundtrack/library music, but I can't ever see myself wanting to listen to it in a 'I wanna hear some songs' way like I do with proper 'head tracks
I think it's probably his best and most interesting sounding solo record and way better than atoms for peace or modern boxes
I think we're too far separated from the eraser for me to make a comparison beyond 'that one sounds like that and this one sounds like this'
My listening experience in balanced mode reveals the great depth of EARTH

Love the vid
The album is great but I think it’d be better if it ended with The Axe.
Impossible Knots and Runwayaway are clearly the two weakest tracks imo. Shave those off and you have a really good 38 minute album.
Actually I guess Impossible Knots isn’t a bad track on its own but it doesn’t fit the rest of he album
