this is really fun :)

Stay Human did Wolf at the Door earlier in the show. I didn’t realize he wasn’t performing but the interview was still good and appropriately awkward. Been playing Anima a bunch the past weeks and wish I could see the tour.

yea, awkward, exactly - - apparently the aired interview was "edited for time" naturally, but this is where the joy is

This is pretty solid ambient stuff I guess but I thought we were gonna get a funky jazzy record

Great show, those visuals are something else live.
Why do so many white people feel they have something to say artistically?

I made this in honor of Janet Gaynor's birthday yesterday and Thom's birthday today! Thought the head heads in this thread might like it.

good interview! thx for the link. it's nice to see thom be more at peace these days

here's another cool recent-ish interview where he talks about talking heads, rem, scott walker, neil young, nina simone, etc.: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0008qg3

Heading out to the Greek theater with cheeba chews

I walked there earlier and it was nice so I looked on stubhub and found a ticket for $60, last time this happened was in Chula Vista for In Rainbows tour, bought those day of after getting invited to the Hollywood Bowl show

I’ve also seen atoms for peace twice

Pretty stoked

Last night slayed, I haven’t heard any of his recent material since the eraser so it was fun seeing almost exclusively new sounds, his voice is still incredible. We didn’t get Harrowdown Hill which I wanted to hear but Cymbal Rush got me feeling like I was 18 again

Good show

Was at last night's show as well, and yeah it was amazing. Seen the 'Head a half dozen times but never Thom solo, and went in with somewhat tempered expectations but was entranced the whole 2 hour set.
