Let's talk Aguachile Alley

I never watched ANIMA when it was on Netflix but I saw it last night at Metrograph (they're playing it in 35mm before Phantom Thread right now) and I loved it. Cool film. I really do love Dawn Chorus

I would hang on to it. It's a great package for a truly exceptional album.

Has there been any noise about an LP10 in (pre)production on the distant horizon? Songs demoed by Thom, etc

I was just thinking how the gap between KoL and AMSP felt longer than since the last one. I guess that was a little more than five years and we’ll be coming up on four years this year, but idk amsp still feels fresh and I’m not clamoring for a new album like i was after kol. I guess part of that was how short that album was

nope. as far as anyone knows, they haven't had any recording sessions since AMSP. based on their current activity (thom's solo tour, ed's solo record/tour, jonny's score for PTA's next film, etc.), it seems like 2020 will largely be dedicated to their individual projects. i'd imagine that late in the year we'll get a pretty substantial re-release of Kid A/Amnesiac, since thom and nigel and stanley have all but confirmed it. the earliest i could see LP10 being realisticly released is spring 2022.

I remember this feeling really cool and kinda mysterious at the time, but in hindsight it feels more akin to Billy Idol releasing promos for Cyberpunk on floppy disk

i used to have the IR one that said "YOU'LL GO TO HELL FOR WHAT YOUR DIRTY MIND IS THINKING" but it shrunk real bad. it was when they were making their shirts out of like, recycled plastic bottles or something?

It's comforting to think that somewhere unfathomably far away incomprehensible beings are possibly having some kind of subjective experience of a world that possibly observes basically the same laws as our own
