thx for this!

ruin 4 is missing quite a few tracks tho - anyone have the rest?

also, i can up neu! 92 & real friends if anyone is interested

they're not missing they're in the RUIN 3 folder, i just put the cd exclusive RUIN 4 tracks in a folder so there weren't duplicate files between folders.

yeah this and the new Black Dresses are going to be in my aoty shortlist at the very least.

showed this album to a group of friends and a few of them reported back to me that they were listening to it on their own today and enjoying it. nice to see the appeal extends beyond irony poisoned pop nerds and message board freaxxx. as it should, because it's a beautiful album.

cosigning the above two, i've been sending this to a bunch of people today and a few of those messages may have included the phrase AOTY

Yeah that was definitely when I went from lurking to actively trying to register but it still took me awhile to figure out how to do that lol.

I’ll upload the stuff for everyone tonight, just may not be for a few more hours at least

this is the first album i've been legitimately into in what feels like years. i'm not sure if it's just coinciding with a general more upbeat time in my life but i'm really all about it. also it feels like j brooks has been responsible for a lot of the more thoughtful boarders here so i'm grateful for that as well!

Actually here it is. Apologies if the metadata is fucked up or anything. Here's everything in there:
Gizzard Greens V1
GG V2 (this has the amazing Fuck the Club Up jungle mashup)
Andreja 4-ever
Ours cover
Sa Sa Samoa remix
Where Has Everybody Gone remix
Come Back to Mine remix
All we fucking care about is kpop whitehouse and our cats mix
I want a 38-minute truce in which there is no rape mix
Life/Trap (Grace Period remix)
We Fly High (Original Version)

https://www66.zippyshare.com/v/1gicjr7q/file.html

I'm not sure where those last 2 came from. The Grace Period is Chris Ott right?

Is this it? When you said “some asian classical pianist guy” the only one i can think of who would cover something like elite gymnastics is conrad tao, so i did a search and this came up

lol yup that's totally it. there used to be a video of him playing it too. thanks for finding it!

This rules. I didn't look at the tracklist before my first listen, so when secret garden started that was a great surprise. By coincidence I found my old RUIN shirt like a month ago and started wearing it.

also i just remembered like 2 years ago i was at the local burger spot alone and a woman was there also alone wearing a RUIN shirt. i said hi and we had a nice lil convo about EG. never expected to see that shirt in the wild. the words "message board" were never exchanged but if you post here, hey!

I once wore my RUIN shirt out to get chips at my bodega and the middle-aged Korean women behind the counter laughed at me and asked I would wear that shirt

This is so good. Really glad Brooks is still making music.

Also, just dusted off my watermelon Ruin and played that. Good memories while listening to it and still sounds incredible

I forget--was the RUIN shirt only available with the purchase of RUIN 3/4? Feel like that was why I never had one and I also slept too long on getting a FUCK REAL LIFE shirt
