Which is a better area to rent an Airbnb (family trip with a 3 yr old) Pilsen or Logan Square?

They're both great neighborhoods, LS is a sprawling hipster neighborhood, Pilsen is a smaller area thats a stronghold in the mexican artists community thats grappling with rapid gentrification. Will you have a car with you? Pilsen puts you closer to downtown and near other cool neighborhoods (Chinatown, Greektown, Bronzeville, Bridgeport). Both have great food options.

Thank you both! I think Pilsen then.

I see the hipadvisor has a few reccs for veggie places and stuff, but nothing for great breakfast places! (I know you said Logan for brunch but with a 3 yr old, breakfast cannot wait until brunch time and I think the vibe is totally different) so any suggestions appreciated. Will travel far for a good sweet breakfast.

I don't know about Pilsen as much even though I work there but in Logan where I live it is acceptable and common to bring your 3 year old to any bar or brunch (at least I do)

its not "hip", but La Catedral is a short drive away in Little Village. like a dozen different varieties of chilaquiles, cafe de olla, the works. about as authentic as it gets. gets slammed on weekends.

if you just want something quick (coffee/croissants/breakfast sandwhich etc) theres also Cafe Jumping Bean on 18th

“When you play a recording of a baby alligator, usually the adult alligator will come investigate to see what’s hurting the babies,” said Alligator Bob...

Was thinking the same thing. Bob's getting kinda dark here:

But Bob did acknowledge the long time since the sighting.

“We’ve gone 24 hours without a confirmed sighting of the animal. I’m not gonna speculate, but you guys will anyway,” he told reporters. “He could’ve been sick or injured when they threw him in here. … ‘Oh, I fed him something and he’s poison and he’s not eating. Oh, I dropped something and broke his back. Oh, I stabbed him when he bit me.’ There’s 100 things.

“We might be looking for a carcass. The water temperature is 74 degrees, just like any other body, it’ll come floating to the surface. But I’m not saying he’s dead. He’s just missing.”
