eBay's kinda worthwhile if you have complete runs to sell.

I've had some luck with used book stores. If there's a 2nd & Charles anywhere around you, give that a shot.

Has anyone read any of the Joe Hill line that DC is putting out? Some of them look pretty good.

I’ve read a couple: the first issue of Basketful of Heads didn’t make a huge impression. Seemed like a fairly typical 80s slasher homage? Carmen Maria Machado’s The Low, Low Woods is much more interesting – she’s a brilliant prose writer. Too early to know where it’s going but it’s mysterious and spooky so far. Pretty promising.

I did not know The Dollhouse Family was by Carey & Gross, or I would’ve been reading that too.

Any other good series started up recently? I liked the first issue of Wonder Woman: Dead Earth, and Al Ewing’s Guardians of the Galaxy kick off, but otherwise haven’t been paying much attention

in basketful, she takes off a few heads and they are still talking and alive bc the axe is cursed or something. issue 1 wasn't enough to keep me going but was enough to get me to skim through the next few

i sold a longbox for $30. happy to have the comics gone and not taking up space, but man, there were hundreds of dollars worth of stuff across all the issues in there and i feel a little guilty that i didn't give it to the charity instead

King City rules incredibly hard. Probably my favourite thing Graham has ever done. The tone is very different from Prophet though - much more comedic

Absolutely snap it up if it's cheap

King City is pretty good, mostly for the art. I don't really care for Graham's writing, and I think his stories tend to just sort of meander around without much in the way of compelling plot or characters.
