derrick for sure deserves it, it'd be his biggest payday and he's earned it lately. it sure seems like jon will somehow get it though, negotiation bs aside.
in other news i am really hoping usman can finish masvidal with strikes and i have to think that's what he's been focusing on doing since their last fight. that would be huge for him. i think he gets it done.
usman looked so good against burns. like i would love to see masvidal doing his smiling and blowing kisses act every time he gets hit for 2 rounds and then see him in deep trouble in the third and lose his poker face.

burns showed he's beatable in the first couple of minutes, would've been interesting if burns didn't end up on the ground soon after. I'd take that rematch over jorge and colby. plus burns' training was comprised by being directly impacted by covid
He's in the top 3 of most ingenuine fighters. I'm only 8 min into that and it's funny how he's trying to paint himself as this martyr for getting lower tier fighters paid more when it's a hundred perfect about him making more.
Also, lol at "I'm finally getting my shit together SOMEWHAT."

In other news, the bellator on showtime era begins tmrw with a decent card and they're making it available for free to everyone

Be great if Holland somehow beat Marvin as he'd be doing to him what Marv did to Joker, upsetting on a short notice fight. Tall order though but hey puncher's chance
fighter pay is fucked up and it would take something massive to change it like all the champs going on strike to support the others
dana used to say you make what you kill and then you had guys like poirier, holloway, and ferguson on these long winning streaks and still only getting in the 200-400k range
the new venom payouts are almost as bad as reebok's were unless what an espn reporter posted was a fool's joke
I've never heard any fighters say negative things about mick maynard, usually that he has their best interest in mind. think he could be a legit successor to dana if anyone decides to do that. he's mostly been booking the women's fights the past few years
i appreciate jon and would root for him against ngannou #teamfuckup
wonder if this is going to go similar to masvidal. see it going the rory decision but being outstruck general. needs to jack holloways footwork. anything cmon nate

i like him because he still wants to fight after a long career. he does deserve to get paid. seems hes doing a lil nate where he realizes he was ripped signing a contract as a young adult and wants compensation
yess feel like these two needed it. ultimately their interests are v much aligned.
prob the most stoked i've ever been to see a fight.
when did y'all start watching? i rented early vhs tapes, watched royce and ken in the earliest ones while hanging at my uncle's trailer home.
became dimly aware once again, after a long hiatus, when rampage KO'd chuck in their second fight. first big fights back were gsp/hughes 2, wand/chuck etc. so like 2007?
