yeah this was good but then the ending was like "oh i guess this is over huh"
Yeah I felt a little dismissive of this flick as I was watching it because I couldn’t figure out what the fuck it was trying to do. But it’s stuck with me and I think a rewatch will be rewarding. It’s a little blumhouse-y tho.
Joe Bobb is gonna be hosting double feature Friday nights on Shudder! knew my sub would finally pay off since I've neglected to cancel. anyway that's very rad
this was a lot better than i thought it would be. def worth a watch. kind of Babadooky, a bit Descenty. good performances particularly from the little kid.

The Stuff was easily the best thing I watched Spooktober last year. Gearing up to watch the first two It's Alive movies tonight cause I never seen em, hopefully get around to the Shudder doc later this week
I havent seen much Gordon or Lovecraft-based stuff but I love Dagon. The first third or so, particularly once they get into the town, is just so perfectly atmospheric.

everything i pick to watch turns out to be average at best and truly cellar-dwelling at worst
i actually made the conscious, sober choice to watch Annabelle the other night
i hate myself
i haven't learned anything cos i'll probably still watch the dumb annabelle prequel as well
Go seek out Alucarda, which Letterboxd tells me you haven't seen. Not average by any stretch.
Anybody have this subbed or dubbed they can throw in the dropbox? All the streaming versions online are edited down from 85 to 77mins and the only good version on pirate bay won't download
I spoiled the new Pet Sematary for myself the other night and ended up spooking myself. Had to leave the lamp on in my room. The third act sounds real nutty.
