did we have a british tv show thread recently?

what are some of the non-Downton country house dramas that are worth watching? there's one or two that boa is always going on about in the Downton thread

also, which of the dickens miniseries/other literary adaptations are good? i've seen Bleak House, and that's about it

parade's end came up in that context, and is indeed very good though not terribly similar to downton.

some of you might have trouble with the Scottish accents but everyone should check out Limmy's Show. The most underrated comedy out there at the moment

The first episode of this show is seriously one of the best episodes of any scifi show

Up there with City on the Edge of Forever and BSG's 33
