There are teens that have lost their way in the county, they do hard drugs and pills because they are wealthy suburb kids. Once you start branching out into Saugus and Val Verde, there is more rural folk with meth problems. It goes from cookie cutter suburbs to strange desert people pretty quickly in the area. Not that it's related to the shooting, but weirdos can spawn out of the woodwork anywhere. I think its just gonna be expected that every school campus is going to go through a gunmen/ active shooter event or scenario. Even at my school there was talk of a student that was expelled for having weapons in his dorm, or the time a gunmen from a robbery was on the loose and the school was on lockdown.
Maybe i'm desensitized too much these days.

After the November election, in which Democrats won decisive majorities in both houses of the General Assembly, they vowed to pass a number of gun-control measures, setting off a panic among Second Amendment stalwarts. In response, well over 100 localities throughout the state have declared themselves Second Amendment “sanctuary counties,” in which sheriffs and other officials vow to defy any gun regulations they deem unconstitutional.
