you don't mean the big poster that came with the reissue do you? because that fits in a standard movie poster frame. i have it hanging in my living room.

this version of "riding with the ghost" from 2007 is really doing it for me. still sad about him being gone, but at around 3:00 everyone jumps in and i can't help but smile

Man, what a way to end an album, especially an album of this caliber which is already crammed with what I feel is pretty much every emotion that this guy could pour out. I mean my god, the tremble in his voice, the building of the instrumentation, the lyrics . . . what a closer.

This is from right about the time that MEC toured Australia. Band looks exactly the same (although they probably always looked like that).

Feel super lucky that I got to see him play in both solo and band mode as he only made it out here on two shorts tours.

I can't really remember seeing him inMelbourne but I know I certainly enjoyed it. Also kicking myself for giving my shirt away because there aren't any good designs for sale any more.

A lyric I had to rewind on the train today, pretty good bit of dark wit

"so did you think that we was gonna last
well honey, you know you don't have to answer that
half of that was my kind of joke
but i dont remember which half.."

I googled Molina / Songs: Ohia tattoos and a lot of people have had the owl from MEC done. Only one of these is OK. Some of these didn't pan out well at all. Tattoos are such a gamble.
