Even with the unlocked time limit you can finish the RE2 demo fairly quickly, it ends right when you get back to the main hall for the first time before Claire arrives. There's a few secrets you can fiddle with like the puzzles but other than that it's fairly linear. Someone finished it in 4 mins.
THIS IMPACT WILL CONTROL ALL MARGINS

Think I’m going to just wait for the full RE2 since we are so close and that’s already a guaranteed day one purchase for me.

I made the mistake of eating up a bunch of my play time not realizing I could skip cut scenes. Still got through almost all of it. It satisfied my craving until the real thing drops.

Im joining up for this 9 month player event that starts tonight. it's going to be weird cutting myself off from basically all of the content in the game but I want to see what happens with the Dec involvement, and of course see the other side of the milky way.

elite is probably the best "forever game" on the market right now

yeah

does the re2 demo trainer work with a cleared demo yet or is that a lost cause?

in any case i think what excites me most about this remake is what they might do with plants 43 and the giant plant overgrowth in the airshaft. i guess on one hand you could say i've got a real personal thing for mutant plants so i'm excited by default, but in the broader context of RE2 as this wonderful intersection and reinvention of b-movie standbys these walking plants and the giant vine that probably birthed them make good fodder for doing new things with encounter design and presentation and all that good shit

i wish the Catherine PC port was better. I can't even get to a point to save cuz the game crashes like every 10-20 minutes from the beginning.

So want to play this

I'm barely on here anymore and haven't posted in this thread in ages but i made an exception just to restate the obvious that.... FUCK EA!!!!!!

https://kotaku.com/ea-cancels-open-world-star-wars-game-1831786371?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow&utm_source=Kotaku_Facebook&fbclid=IwAR0WfOR4la5CjQeRb3IX0lzEIZDD3BA2vZN2N1JltkK2pvFTs7DfzIHORIQ

My god why can't just ANY OTHER PUBLISHER hold the rights for this IP.

Seriously just FUCK EA so hard. Yeah let's just do a FUCKING MMOFPS with the best sci-fi franchise of all time. It's 2019 and nobody has yet made the SW we all deserve. They just haven't if you really think on it. Not even Galaxies.

at the end they say the want some smaller scale game for late 2020. Since i assume they haven't started on it yet that means less than two years to make a complete AAA game. I have a feeling whatever that is it will suck,. Well hey i guess you could develop ANOTHER fucking SW battlefront in that time....

probably but because it was a MMO then it wasn't really the SW open world game I myself deserved. THis is what i meant really because it's all about me. I haven't had the SW game i so clearly deserve.

But for real i'd be very into the idea of them basically redoing a modern SW Galaxies still. The thing is, by the time i got to try it, well the game was already dead but running on unofficial servers and because i'm shallow, in 2012 (when i tried it), 2001 graphics just kept me from being able to immerse myself in this world. It looked like complete ass to the modern eye i'm afraid and i couldn't look past this though i tried for a few hours.
