I'm playing Gravity Rush 2 right now without having played the first, I've reached a point where the story (which barely matters) is making even less sense but seems to rely heavily on knowing what happened in GR. I don't care, it's fun and unique so fuck it

i platinumed gravity rush 1 twice, and the second game still barely made sense.

this is probably more essential viewing than the first game

beth gibbons is like the only singer besides billie holiday that's ever made that kind of affectation work. that it's become such a scrump singer songwriter goto spins my head around

Outer worlds really is painfully generic. Maybe I'm burned out on the quality of writing in general for these sandbox rpgs. I never gave outer wilds a shot, may as well jump ship to that at this point.

I ended up going back and completing everything in control. Frustrating checkpointing aside, more people in here should check out that game. I'm sure it will get a decent black friday discount.

Loved Outer Wilds

Also, Disco Elysium is the cure for the generic RPGs that ail you

difficutly levels are based on tighter parry/counter windows and breaking poise so yeah this is gonna be heavily Sekiro. im ready for it.

I find Outer Worlds writing above par, and you get to overthrow capitalist enterprises and corporations so it's a nice socialist fix. I'm also happy the game isn't super long and the "open worlds" aren't big at all.

I mean they set out to make a game similar to Fallout New Vegas and not really invent new mechanics, so yeah it's more of the same.

I wish the gun play in both the outer worlds and fallout 4 were better. I also think fallout 4 has more viable character build options.

anyone play The Legend of Bum-Bo yet?

i'd think this would be a bigger deal than it is, but there's like barely anything out there on it, and the steam reviews dont look good

Obsidian announced a new IP there and it's a survival/building game that's basically Honey I Shrunk The Kids/Antz.

Really pumped for Fallen Order.

Have to say I've really enjoyed Lonely Mountains Downhill, so whoever recommended that, thanks, it's been a blast. All the runs I am too chicken to do in real life. :D

i bought jedi fallen order the other day. i figured what the hell

i hate that it's a survival game in exactly the way that it is but god grounded looks kind of amazing. i mean it should be a survival game, just not one with the baggage of the current survival game scene. but i'm a sucker for incredible shrinking man shit, a game like this has been kind of a dream in the back of my mind for years and it seems like obsidian's put more love in this idea than they did outer worlds:

It says you're trying to get home, but also that's the same melody forThe Ants Go Marching One By One
