hey anyone else notice Trey’s been loudly singing “the Moma Dance”… I thought they always just said “the moment ends” and it was a homonym

has it always been a “fluff came to [my door/New York]” situation where they sing two different things? or is big red just hamming it up?

Where do they fit na na nas into Moma Dance, is it the part where they song along to Trey's guitar line except it's all nas now?

I've always heard it as both moment ends & Moma Dance, like in Cut Your Hair when Malkmus is singing career/Korea.

I wanted to listen to a nice SBD Taste, so I typed it into the LP search and a song came up called The Real Taste of Licorice off of One Man's Trash.. obviously I had to hear it

it's just a rewritten Acoustic Army, so it's pretty dope.. I should spend some time with that album

also Trey played two Lonely Trip songs I'd love to hear Phish do - ... And Flew Away, which has two jam sections, one major key blissful, one much more rocking, it would be perfect if they could arrange the vocals right, since Trey's not gonna pull of the delicate, vulnerable falsetto from the home recording, nor does he have Jen & Natalie.. the other tune is I Never Left Home, which would be a cool landing pad type deal.. there's a Ghosts tune that's similar, they played it in CT in 2019 I believe without ever having played it as Phish, Fishman just dropped into it not knowing Mike didn't know it lol but it worked out okay

OH and they played Quantegy the other night 8-)

only the second Quantegy since 2005!!!!! (third if you count an acoustic apartment stream, which I do not)

it was played twice in 2002, but other than that it was in regular rotation during TAB Summer 01, and that's it! I always forget just how rare that tune is, in spite of it being possibly the single best song Trey has ever written.. okay, other than Somantin

Yeah I was hoping for Never Left Home this summer, you're right that it's a little like Wider (the ghosts song), wish they kept playing that one too.

I love Corona

I wish Phish would play it again because I honestly mostly LOVEEEE their version from Chicago 2017, and TAB’s doesn’t do it for me in the same way.. last night’s was really nice tho
