I’ve never actually made a French omelette before, but I’d say I did a pretty good job!

It’ll be even better when I put salt on it instead of sugar... I mean, if there’s a cup on top of the stove with white powder, I’m just gonna assume that’s salt all day... who sticks their hand in sugar to Emeril a dish that isn’t sweet enough?? Also, I can’t even find any salt in here!!!

alright y’all.. it’s a classic 12/30 story... old daddy ‘_uger was up until 8am talking about Attitude-era WWF and on a delicate, but not excessive balance of complimentary, if not slightly competing substances... upon waking up at 4pm, my ego was about as soft as wonderbread..

v stoked to go into these nights with just a dopey, wondrous feeling, where any other day I’d be in bed eating pizza, the only thing I have to do today is smoke a few doobies and watch a goddamn Phish show... there have been some beautiful moments on these 12/30 nights throughout the years, from my lost ticket miracle in 2012, to my lost seat turned religious experience in 2013, to 2016’s Sparks Party Time throwdown... oh yea.... and last year when Everything’s Right turned the arena into a pulsing, flowing, orange ball of electric energy...

while I have had 0 kale today, and will be enjoying my annual MSG Meatstick dinner tonight in lieu of fresh produce and high fiber foods, I’m feeling very certain that I made the right choice in coming to this already fully epic half of run seeing the greatest band alive at the world’s most famous arena...

peace, love, and see y’all at Garcia Peoples...

and lovely to meet you last night, Franco!!

I bought a face mask and I'm going to go sit in my dang seat hopped up on lemon tea, antibiotics, and benzonotate, close my eyes, and bliss the hell out to tonight's Tweezer -> Mercury.

(See y'all at the Peoples, where I'll be doing the same thing just hopefully not wearing a face mask because I'm counting on them not letting the wooks smoke cigarettes in LPR.)

no cigarettes at all in 118 last night that I could smell!

I’m done smoking butts not on a lawn, it’s just dumb... plus I like my post show one outside better anyway

And YES to Tweezer -> Mercury... especially because you called Carini last night which, I ASSURE YOU, was MUCH longer than 13 minutes

Likewise k_uger (and Althea)! Go get em tonight.

I was really locked in for a lot of last night. They didn’t let go much at all in that second set. Fun fun time.

the Brian Eno section of that Tweezer is the best thing I’ve ever seen them play... they were playing just for me...

Seat issues unfortunately kept me from fully blissing out as planned to that extremely bliss-worthy Tweezer (we were stuck in one of those super cramped corners under the bridge, thought we'd found a better spot in front of Skeleton & Co. only to be booted by aggro wooks, and ended up watching the whole thing from the last row of the 400s behind a couple who were making out in a way I can only describe as anti-erotic and next to a gaggle of 40-something former frat boys who were literally screaming their "yeah, we'll probably refinish the deck this spring"-level conversation over the entire jam), but let's just say I'm glad that Trey's dialed the caffeine setting into the right spot this run.

Was so lovely to finally meet a few more of you! Hope everyone got home safe from the (absolutely bonkers) aftershow.

what's this about a Brian Eno-esque Tweezer and a 4 song set 2???
It's comforting to think that somewhere unfathomably far away incomprehensible beings are possibly having some kind of subjective experience of a world that possibly observes basically the same laws as our own
