I love those descending chord hits in the verse.. so does Bobby I guess

Maybe the day has yet to come in my life where I acknowledge that three wrong turns can really make a right, and when that day comes, I'll like the lyrics too.
I'm a little jealous of someone for whom the feeling of screwing up once then doing it two more times doesn't ring true. That song also has a personal connection but at this point what song doesn't.
Oh, I'm just razzing. The song has a nice groove and I'm sure with repeated listens I won't care about the lyrics. I usually don't with most bands! I think what stuck out with me here was that it was it trucked in a lot more cliches than what I've heard in my exposure to the band thus far. The "three wrong turns" bit especially stood out.
There has been a huge lyrical shift the last 10 years. You might be picking up On that with your sped up full retrospective absorption here. Clif Bars and Pinterest and Abe Vigoda are not terms I as young Franco, swept up in abstract imagery and nonsense, would have taken kindly to without a sturdy foundation in place.
got the Sox game going too... skipping a legendary punk band so I can function this week

Fucking hell, what is this setlist. Just got back from Toronto and they're doing BD covers and Petrichor and leaving VHG in an existential reprise-less dilemma.
