"i'm so mad they didn't pick radiohead"

what? you still get to hear the cool radiohead song that the massive film franchise didn't choose to use during the opening credits of its important artistic statement, the millionth edition of james bond saving the world

skyfall has that annoying thing in every adele song after the first chorus where she repeats every line in that grating backup singer way

let the sky fall (let the sky fall!)
let it crumble (let it crumble!)

I don't think live and let die is at all bad, I think it's fucking great, I was disagreeing with badhat
I think the other songs I put above are very nice melodies and arrangements for songs that are mostly silly and fluffy

At this point I'd take another song that literally says what's happening in the movie over these dirges.

Golden Gun is a bit stupid but yeah the maudlin dirge thing is getting a bit tiresome.... I like Billie and she was the right choice but was hoping for the fun, cheeky side of her a bit more here. The song is fine on its own but three of these in a row and you want more of the "I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SEX GOD" approach which the best Bond themes do

i mean in the abstract this is on point but success in that paradigm is especially dependent on having good taste

I generally enjoy James Bond movies but I'm not invested in the songs. The Skyfall one was pretty good, I guess?
