im almost 2 hours into Man of Steel and 2gin and tonics and so far my only beef with this movie is his parents being a bit too overprotective in their advice but not in action... and i remember supes just doesn’t gaf about who dies during battle wrt civilians so im bracing myself for that. but maybe the ridiculousness of justice league, a year of no real cinema blockbusters, and 4 years of trump lowered my standards and the overton window is real but im enjoying this.

edit:i mean... they send the villains into the phantom zone in giant dildos... how is this not good?

literally at the 2 hour mark they couldve just called it, and put zod back into a giant penis but it had to be snydered and we get 30 mins of just amazing punching and city destruction, millions dead

Someone definitely needs to reign in Gunn's joke writing. I want to like this movie, and I was fine with the first half of that trailer.

It would be impossible for this to be worse than the first SS which I actually thought was even worse than Whedon's JL.
