May these days of perfect sessions last forever. I’m in love with skateboarding right now.

skateboarding has definitely been the best part of my day for a while. I love cruising around in the bowl. I saw a guy break his ankle last night; the bone was jutting out and everything. so be careful everyone

the homie i was talking too at the park last time was telling me he rolled his ankle twice in one day a few years ago. i've rolled mine once or twice but it was over a decade ago, and it definitely wasn't in one day

he was ripping though regardless of that

I recommend becoming a regular at the bowl, I love skating in the bowl so much that I've pretty much stopped doing everything else

About his broken/shattered leg? Pretty fuckin gnarly!

It's insane the injuries some of these dudes sustain and still continue with their career

Nice! Wish I could front 50 like that, heck, front anything like that.

I’m heading to the skatepark right now actually. You all won’t believe this but I kind of just started liking going to the park. Not really my thing until this week.

Also gotta post this one. Saw it again last night and I got so emotional remembering skating downtown. Haven’t been there since the pandemic started and that’s just so weird to think about. Also goddamn we got some skaters here

we have some well needed moisture today. the dry heat has been pretty crazy and i've skated most days for the past two weeks, so it's nice to relax and let my body chill. also creedence this is v sick thanks for posting. chicago spots look so cool

Grumby, I used to work downtown and I would skate through a lot of those plazas every day. Chase plaza (gray bench ledges and sloped walls, it’s in a ton of those clips) should be some kind of world heritage skate site.

I’m going to take some trips down there this summer, feel like it would be night and day for me compared to four months ago in terms of progression maybe I can actually skate stuff down there now.

God I’m watching it AGAIN and my last post makes NO mention of the neighborhood spots. I just found the crusty banks at 6:36, lovely!

been watching some nine club eps lately and it's crazy how many of these guys have pins in their ankles and shit. i guess if it heals right the metal is just like part of your skeleton so if the muscles grow back around it it would be like the same? watched this daewon doc the other day too and learned that he has this horrible giant fucked up ankle bc he broke it and never did anything about it. and he still rips too.

also learned from that doc that he keeps his front trucks all the way loose, like the hanger is literally hanging, which is so wild to me.

just discovered a park by me in carlsbad called Alga Norte, not quite linda vista but pretty fuckin nice and has lights and shit and it's only a 10 min drive so i'm gonna be spending a lot of time there. i'd be going every day but my body can't handle it, we did this huge skate protest rally in downtown san diego last week that was really sick and i guess i went too hard too long i couldn't hardly stand up for days.

i've just been getting so excited about skating again i love it
