saw the 'on cinema' live show the other night while in portland

was a fun time. tim, greg, joe extevez, and the dekkar guys were there. there was a DKR performance, a couple of Dekkar "unplugged" tunes, a campaign style speech for tim for DA, a Decker skit, a movie trivia segment with gregg, and an On Cinema segment. capped off by "our values our under attack".

it was all pretty fan service-y i suppose but not sure what else you'd expect from a show like that. unclear if the show varies at all night to night but it's fun if you're an on cinema fan.

Don't know where to put this, but Tim played a part in the Dayworld pilot that recently premiered on Adult Swim. I enjoyed the episode and it looks like a promising show moving forward.

Dayworld was the first thing I watched this morning all disoriented and it really fucked me up. Was laughing so hard at Dole (the hairy manbaby) interrogating people about their birthdays. Highly recommended to everyone.

I saw Dayworld yesterday and have since tracked down and watched everything Cole Kush related. Really excited about his work at the moment.

this is so great

gregg wrote:For movie buffs, seeing these awards given to the movies that deserved them would be the greatest Christmas gift of all, and every film buff would say that Oscar has really “gone ahead, and made my day”. Caught the On Cinema live show last night. It was super good. They pretty much covered every aspect of the On Cinema universe.

Last night i think they went on around 8:15-8:30. Really fun show; I wasn't sure what to expect and was really impressed by what a production it was. I saw the Tim & Eric Anniversary tour last year and thought it was pretty lazy, with them mostly on stage to intro videos. On Cinema live was way better; lots of variety and fan service to the insane mythology of the show, but still accessible enough that someone who hasn't seen all the seasons of On Cinema/Decker would enjoy it.
