Cringe Tapes Vol 1 - DJ Douggpound is well worth the $5 Patreon (along with the Office Hours After Hours vids and everything else).

Also, finally Googling to find out what the hell the "Thank you for listening" song they now end the show with is (I might have missed the origin drop story in an earlier ep, dunno), was a highly rewarding search.

I tried watching this for the first time in the covid era and had to stop because 5 dudes in a room made me too uncomfortable.

that was pretty good. i like seeing tim in fanboy mode as he tries to maintain a balance with his comedic side.

i was a late comer to the oscar specials. i dont think ive found anything that rivals what they have - and continue - to achieve with that series. just truly unreal. and the most frustrating thing is that its too nuanced or specific or something that when i try and get my friends into it, it just falls on deaf ears.

Theres a like 12 hour compilation of the first 8 or 9 seasons on youtube that I put on as i fall asleep many a night and its the balmest thing to me now. Only thing that fucks with me is the audio mixing being intentionally loud whenever gregg does an on cinema on location segment lol

Finally got this in my hands today, it's so good. Worth it even just for the images of all the elements they've made over the years, flicking from one page with a giant TCH Vape System ad to an In Memoriam for the Electric Sun 20 was making me laugh in work.

Though by laughing it made someone in work ask what the book was so had to try explain the concept for the entire On Cinema universe. He sounded real into it but now I'm just never going to go back to work because he'll end up watching some of it at some point and be like "what in the fuck is this".

finally getting around to watching this through, since i'd only seen scattered stuff and then didnt want to just pick up in the midde of stuff

hearing the theme/bumpers back-to-back gets annoying but yeah this is funnier than i remembered, and i'm excited to get around to the stuff like Decker and the trial, etc

Joe Esteves is such a great character. I love how much he’s transcended his initial stunt casting. It could have been a one off meta riff, as we often see with some of the other Hollywood oddballs they hire. But his ability to work within the show’s currents is remarkable.
