Man how did the thread ever get to 1155 pages?

Zombie dust just came to Jersey. I’ve never had it before. It may be played out for some of you but this is so damn refreshing in a state of juice bombs.

I just placed an order for a bunch of Fieldwork stuff tonight. Currently going through a bunch of Cellarmaker 4-packs this week. Really hope breweries continue shipping regularly if/when this dumb country ever gets back to "normal."

Drinking some HPB Pleasant Pils cause we got a drop up here in Bend. Killer beer.

(And I'm feeling pretty happy because my homebrew Italian pils compares favorably.)

If you get a chance to try the 'Malgo Pils it's so good. I think they're offering half case shipments in CA unless they sold out. Collab with Amalgam Brewing from Denver.

i am treating myself to a sixer of lagunitas pils currently. it's pretty sessionable and not a massive hop bomb, but it doesn't remind me of a czech style pilsener

Very cool. I'd have to have it shipped to someone in CA and then shipped to me.

But given how quickly Timbo + Irresponsible sold out here I doubt it'll be our last drop.

This has been my go-to beer after a bike ride this summer. So damn refreshing. Glad it's in cans now.

Just ordered a mixed case from North Park along with another mixed case from Casa Agria despite the fact that I still have a bunch of HPB, Fieldwork, and Cellarmaker in my fridge. Why? Because I'm a complete idiot.

Yeah I’m with you on lactose. Not to say I haven’t had well-executed beers that use it, but more often than not, it just makes any beer besides a milk stout taste like smarties.

The lactose/vanilla combo is the absolute worst; Commonwealth makes lots of beers I enjoy but their kettle sours with lactose tasted like vomit.

commonwealth is so inconsistent, had to stop buying all their stupid one-off IPAs because it was a total gamble each time

Most milkshake IPAs and sour IPAs are so gross. When a brewery combines the two, it results in the most repulsive goddamn beer imaginable.

I think I’ve liked maybe two sour IPAs I’ve tried.

The ratio of good kettle sours I’ve had is about the same.

Yeah I’m with y’all on adjunct ipas/sour ipas/“beers” that are just sugary fruit juice cocktails being overall terrible

But I can fuck with/always enjoy a lil lactose/milk sugar in a stout or otherwise straight hazy iPa (other half’s are uniformly great)

On a different note finally got a bunch of cans from The Veil and enjoying a range of their ipas and Saisons

The brewers background is totally insane and I get why he’s hyped (Portsmouth/alchemist/cantillon/hill farmstead)
