Born yesterday smells so good. Even morning after my girlfriend even said the glass it was in smelled nice.

Had a Curmudgeon's Better Half last night and I'll be damned if I didn't like mine better.
On the downside, one exploded in tonybricker's house. Sry dude.
I love the founders stouts/barleywines you can get for like $14.99/4pk, usually so worth it
you're going to deliver your amazing homebrew straight to where I'm staying in Van Nuys remember (I don't have a car)
then I'm going to give it all five stars on Untappd and give my check-in location a wacky name
Cellador isn't that far from me
I can probably do this on Sunday (tomorrow) if you're around. Feel free to DM or hit me up on IG (deadwolfbones).

i had never had a treehouse stout before but man they make em right
their new brewhouse is sort of a drag though, even though i'm happy for their success and all.

Drinking an On Tour Mr Miner - English style pale that totally nails it. Perfect fall beer.

kind of like a hopped up imperial oud bruin. not entirely bad. I think I kinda like it?

Did you get it from Ramirez? I know they put some on the shelves a few weeks ago knowing about the infection. Shady ass store.
I don’t think I had any BC last year.
I’ve been in a huge stout mood but I’ve barely seen any around lately and it’s upsetting me greatly.

Sure did. Shame on them for sure.
Ramirez does also have '16 BCBS which I think was not infected.

Aha I knew it.
They also routinely post new "limited" arrivals on their social media then pull them off the shelves so people will show up and have to buy something else since they're already there. Or at least they used to do that, I haven't followed them in awhile for that reason.

The sleezy bottle shop move I hate is the 'must-buy-something-else-to-buy-this-whale.' I won't shop at those places anymore.

Drinking a Pilsner from Holy Mountain called Holy Light. Very tasty. I often overlook this style but when they’re done right it’s a great experience

On the other hand, their selection is pretty great. Finally got to try Ritterguts Gose and also got a lichtenhainer from Koln.

They're solid and have a lot of beer on tap. Only serve vegan food though. Mikkeller is a block away and usually has a lot of great beers on tap but they're expensive as hell. Go to Highland Park Chinatown if you haven't.
Sunset Beer Company is a bottle shop but they also have about a dozen beers on draft and the last draft list I saw was really solid.
Mumford is decent.
Spring St. Bar and Mega Bodega usually have something good on.

Allagash Brett IPA is really great and has me missing Rayon Vert. The Allagash is likely way better, but at the time Rayon Vert was such a novel concept for a US brewery. Who else was doing brett beers in small format bottles in 2011?

Alvarado St Nelson, Baby! is fantastic, and one of the best smelling beers I've had in a long time. I should've grabbed more.

Best thing about moving to OR thus far is the easy access to pFriem beers.

Noticing a lot of brewers, beer bars and tap rooms going heavy on the gose and berliners and session sours this time of year, at the expense of the kind of dark beers I'm looking for.
Its grey and windy and 30 degrees outside and low ABV session sours have summer written into their DNA, just make with the fucking porters already.
