I got a Tired Hands shipment last week and this double IPA (DDH Grassman w/ Riwaka) is probably the best beer i've had in a long time. only have one can left

lol I've been part of three Tired Hands orders since they started shipping to VA. That Grassman variant was amazing. I have an order of the citra & simcoe one coming this week.

yeah i think i've gotten 3 orders as well. Due for one soon, hopefully they restock Alien Church this week.

getting tired hands and triple crossing cans shipped to me during the pandemic has spoiled me.

New half acre year rounder is really good. Nelson, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe. Plus stupidly priced around $13/4 pack

Tried athletic brewing today. I hadn’t ever had NA beer so not sure what to compare it to but it’s pretty good. This beer is probably a few too months old but it’s not bad. Might have to work some into the rotation w the real thing.

In regular ol beer, Im happy to see cellarmaker in cans in SD. Good stuff.

A rainy day seemed like a good time to try out some Brunch Friends. Imperial stout with vanilla, coffee, maple, and amburana wood. The other flavors balance out the maple a lot better than some other maple stouts I've tried. Special thanks to Birds vs Worms for making sure I got my bottles yesterday!

I really gotta figure out how to make my pictures smaller...

It's similar to a Cellarmaker hazy pale ale. It's pretty tasty.

Yeah I went with Suarez. Couldn't pass that up. It's a mixed case:

2 x 4-packs QUALIFY PILS
2 x 4-packs STANDS TO REASON
1 x 4-pack HOMESPUN
1 x 4-pack RIVER

I will probably be giving/trading away the rauchbier, not a fan of smoked lagers. But it's Saurez, they will probably change my mind about them.

If you do end up at Modern Times, it looks like they currently have cans of Door to Nowhere and bottles of Altar of the Orc Lord: Rocky Road which are both insanely good.

Nice, I picked up stuff from them last summer, so good. It's a hike for me but will probably grab stuff from them in a few months.

man. definitely missing dc's extremely permissive liquor laws after seeing all the breweries that ship there now.

all the big nc breweries are doing mail order but we do not get much stuff coming in.

that said, zillicoah and eurisko make good enough lagers that i don't feel like i'm missing out that much. there's nothing like suarez pils though.

Don't the box wines still use some plastic container inside? Doesn't it end up being a wash or worse environmentally?

I tried some Cantillon in a bag last year that had gone bad and it was the saddest drain pour of my life.
