I still think the mass produced ones is green flash. The quality has def got better but it’s still not up to pre green flash days

I haven't really been messing with modern times shelfies here cos there are so many other solid craft shelfies available in this market (Philly). Tonight i.e I thought about finally trying booming rollers but went for the usual half acre and oxbow cans instead.

Also oxbow might be my favorite American brewery anymore. Luppolo is an incredible pils, farmhouse pale ale is a great shelfie saison and all their smaller run draft offerings are decent to amazing. Can't think of a lousy beer I've ever had from them.

Their stouts were stupid good in 2018, and I think they might start barrel aging stuff this year. Between this and modern times it is bricker’s Year of the Pastry Stout

For those around DC, Aslin could be opening up their new facility in Alexandria as soon as next month.

90 Minute IPA and Three Philosophers were the two gateway beers I first had at a craft beer bar.

My parents live in Milton, so I go to Dogfish a fair amount. I appreciate them, and I understand why they did this move at this specific time. Rarely drink their stuff when I'm not in Delaware but they make pretty good shelf beers.

Feel free to say no, but I'd enjoy doing a HPN QBT share day sometime. We could open bottles outside Barbara's then do Barbara's and HPB Chinatown.

visited Superstition yesterday. you get to it through a made in arizona type store, which is pretty weird, but its a cool tasting room once you go downstairs to their space. super friendly staff and great to be able to try a lot of different meads without having to shell out the $$$ for bottles I don't necessarily want the whole thing of. highlights were aphrodesia cuvee (barrel aged wine grade mead), strawberry white (barrel aged chocolate strawberry mead), and their house made sangria (barrel aged plain mead, marionberry mead, red wine, oranges). next time i have a big party, definitely going to make some of that sangria.

I got to go to Other Half for the first time on Sunday and it did not disappoint. Triple Mylar Daydream and Triple Mosaic Daydream blew my mind.
