had a 2017 Grey Monday yesterday, that is still a really, really good beer. Bruery kind of gets left behind in all the BA stout hype these days

2009 surly darkness is holding up fairly well. my bottle was only slightly oxidized.
was gonna do the 2009 dark lord but decided to save it for the ten year anniversary next year.

I'm predicting that 2009 will be drain poured
We had a 2012 like last year and it was totally disgusting. Maybe we stored it really bad though, I dunno. Hopefully it works out for ya

Wow, The Party from HPB is one hell of a unique west coast IPA. Love it.

i think braven is fine, but with grimm, interboro, and kcbc a short walk away, competition is very stiff
is the food good?

Ended up going to rip current, pizza port and eppig I'm SD. Eppig has a good lagering program so it was up my alley. Pizza port was awesome for having a kid and really really wish there was something like it in Seattle.

pizza port is awesome as an adult. really wish there was something like that in LA. PP is probably 50% of the reason i am willing to go down to orange county to surf.

Probably an occasional thing, like when they ship cases to NYC or Philly for on prem consumption only. It was nice to drink Focal Banger in BK, not so nice to spend $9 a can.

Every Brut IPA I’ve had is terrible. I don’t understand the fascination with this.
