The robertas domino sugar park is a crazy concept. I don't know if they need a williamsburg location.

long shot, but are any of y'all interested in seeing municipal waste/napalm death/dropdead/sick of it all? got a ticket for saturday 10/12 at the bowery that i'm trying to get rid of, paid 32 and change after fees but really anything reasonable is cool. i think face without fees was like 25. can't go for medical reasons so at least trying to make sure it goes to good use.

i'm out in the new haven area nowadays but i can forward the email with the confirmation/ticket printout for sure if unable to meet up out this way.

the popsicle place is good

there's a record store at the end of the main drag that also houses some weird paraphernalia. owner is cool. I bought some "famous murderer" trading cards there.

awesome! beacon can be a real fun spot. the dia is easily its best attraction but it also has a nice main street with a bunch of good shops to stop into. if you're getting in off the train, the dia will be within walking distance, and on the walk over there are a couple roads to some nice outdoor spaces. one i like is long dock park, which if you're walking to dia from the train will be on the right hand side. there's also two breweries in beacon, hudson valley brewery and two way brewing company. HV brewery is on the opposite side of town, while two way is closer to the train station. some nice restaurants there are sukhothai, isamu, the beacon hotel, the roundhouse (very expensive) and then for a weirder, more locals scene you could check out quinn's, which might have some music playing. there will probably also be music at the towne crier. by the roundhouse and hudson valley brewery is this really beautiful waterfall that might be worth checking out as well

Assuming you're gonna go into downtown beacon, I would hit up draught industries or Hudson valley for beers (the latter is kind of a scene on weekends/holidays which is weird lame)

I mean just walk around for cool places. It seems weird giving you recommendations when half the fun is just walking the main Street and finding what you like.

Cool ass little town! I love it.
