did it actually move, or just open a second location?

Found out about that place on here from Macseries I think. I don't think it's terrible, so the wburg one is prob fine.

yesterday i left the house at 816am. i barely missed the first Q train and then when the next one came in 14 minutes it was so full not one person could get on where i was standing. no one got off. then you get the line from MTA fool about "another train directly behind us" and that takes 12 minutes to come and only one or two people could get on that time. finally i was able to board the fourth train i saw at 857am and didn't get to work until 930. sometimes i do this commute in 25 minutes.

then this morning for the second time this week there was a sick passenger at avenue H so the Q wasn't even stopping at my local stop, i had to ride further out into brooklyn one stop and switch there for an express.

also good buddy of mine was stuck at 53rd waiting on the E i think for over 45 minutes.

lot of bad train stories going around lately.

omg just saw this yeah what is the fuckin deal with the Q this last week

15+ minute waits at rush hour

the old pastis sucked too...

im generally a stephen starr fan though. i think upland is one of the best in the city and always recommend it to out of towners.

Oh he did upland. That’s the most overrated place in New York in my opinion. I don’t need to do Pastis then

Dunno if anyone else was planning to go to this besides me but Elsewhere just cancelled and refunded Yummy Fur tickets for early December, sounds like they will try to reschedule for sometime next year.

cant believe no one bailed them out.

about 9 months ago la colombe dropped them as a pastry supplier. never got the backstory there, but that mustve been a big hit given the volume they were moving through there.

when i heard they were in trouble a few weeks ago i went and got a pretz croissant straight out of the oven. too good. i took 5 home and froze them. got one left. really hope they rise again in some shape or form.

i always wondered why they used the birdbath name when city bakery was so eponymous and sorta respected. i always liked the 18th street location after all these years.

nothing mindblowing but it was always a comforting place to step in whenever youre in flatiron or union square.

the theaters themselves are nice and not underlit like the other AMCs but they all have no numbers and a different facade of a classic hollywood movie palace so you have no idea where your movie is, there’s also one line shuffling 1000 people into the lobby. all the AMCs in the city are a different flavor of madness and chaos it seems.
