I went to $15/mo or whatever Blink gym hundreds of times and never saw anything bad. The occasional homeless person charging their phone...*GASP*

I signed up for Equinox rich person bullshit recently and have been MAYBE 8 times so far and have already seen one guy jacking off, and today I go to step into the shower stall and someone had clearly just shaven all their body hair and pubes and shit everywhere....looked like a barber floor in the shower.

about to go to Zum Stammtisch for some German food

I do love it in Ridgewood, I don't see myself ever leaving it as long as I'm in NY quite honestly

it wasn't even in the steam room, dude was basically pressed up against the shower door and the shower doors there are like halfway translucent. He was going to town on himself.

Hopefully these are anomalies and 25% of the time I go to Equinox it's not rich assholes just shaving their pubes onto the floor and walking away for a cleaning person to come sweep it up

Brooklyn Record Exchange is going to open in Greenpoint in the old co-op 87 spot. Gonna have a bushwick & greenpoint location. Loved that record store.

hi friends

i have a job interview next week and i need to buy a suit. i haven't bought a suit in NYC before. where is good? i am ok with spending a decent chunk of change

i am in UWS but happy to go wherever. i have gotten on the thicker side in the last couple months so places with a range of sizing would be great!!

thanks a ton

Suit supply. Brooks brothers has a big sale right now I think but it might be ending today

Last time I bought a suit the prices jumped from $300 price range to $1000 with basically no in between. then suit supply came around with stuff in the $400-$600 range. This was years ago though not sure if the landscapes different now

went to Rule of Third's soft open last night and was super impressed. izakaya style stuff that didn't feel corny or fusion-y, sharp as hell aesthetic, lots of touches from Okonomi/Yuji Ramen that the chef brought with him, and I like how they expanded the ideas. would recommend checking it out once it properly opens. it was a set meal so I didn't actual get to try a lot of what I was curious about on the menu, so definitely aiming to going back soon. meal was also comp'ed so I'm curious what that'll come out to. solid two dollar sign place probably

i'm extremely excited to check it out. i feel like that space is cursed tho. norman was such a killer restaurant and it was always dead empty and i guess that okonomi bar pop-up thing they did over the summer was great, but also always empty.

I've been lurking around there forever waiting for something to go in there. That weird store they have is so odd. I missed the Okonomi pop up. Norman was alright. I was like maybe I don't get scandanavian cuisine and never felt a need to go back.
