I thought the port was deemed too difficult? I should get Blind Forest at some point but I've realised I'm not generally a big fan of Metroidvanias and I'm swearing off buying them for a while.
It is mating season for the pterosaurs, and this well-endowed male wants YOU to fly with him.
Maybe I'm just not in the Nintendo headspace but the only games I've purchased in the last year I think are Untitled Goose, Ori port, Lonely Mountain, and SMM2.
I played through A Short Hike again today, so good. The perfect type of game for me rn.

yeah i had also read that. something with the graphics being 3d vs 2d right?
Did we ever have that Metroidvania thread? I just started playing Iconoclasts tonight and so far it's insanely pretty and really crunchy. I'm having a blast. Good one for the noobs in the thread also as the Easy mode seems to make you literally invulnerable
Dusted off the Wii U and I'm replaying Super Mario 3D World - so much fun, soundtrack is stellar. A real gem of delight in this screwy world, and I'm playing it with a Pro Controller - will go back for the Toad levels with that crap GamePad towards the end.
Bought What the golf? on sale, it's goofy just like expected, with a scent of Katamari Damacy. If you're into little absurdist games that somehow manage to go deep in a really simple concept, it's nice
Posted by DarthBellic on Twitter, files within the recently released THPS 1 + 2 Warehouse demo reveal input images for all three official control schemes on the Nintendo Switch, including that for the Pro Controller.
picked up Paper Mario last week - about 3/4 through the yellow streamer portion and man this game feels like it's never going to end and not in a good way. I don't know if I have it in me to finish...
Been encouraging my gf to try more games besides just Animal Crossing and A Short Hike seems like the perfect one for her. I'm gonna lay on the couch and drink tea and watch her play it and I think it will be the perfect cure for all the stress right now.
Though watching her try to use joysticks properly may just be more stressful. We'll see.
