Anyone have any experience getting an overheating switch repaired? The repair site says you have to go to the troubleshooting page first, but there is no page for overheating issus.

My son is interested in getting one of the Pokemon games on the WiiU eShop. Should we get one of the mystery dungeon or ranger games for the DS or one of the older ones? He's only played Sword.

I’ve been playing Super Mario 3D World with a six year old. Stay in the bubble or you’re going to bed.

God playing DS games on the WiiU is so great. I really wish there were more titles available on virtual console.

This Project Triangle demo is hilarious in that it drops you in the middle of the plot and makes you read endless reams of diaglog before you get to the gameplay...

Getting the second green star in pirahna creeper creek after dark was more annoying to me than any SMS level. Probably wouldn't have been hard with Peach but im doing everything as Mario (except for the levels with character-specific buttons).

That said, I'm liking 3d world now, post-game has been pretty fun. It's no DKCTF, but it's a solid mario game.

qbitgames is running a really big sale on the eshop if you own one of their games, and they sell Coloring Book for free.
A lot of their games are trash, but I've always been intrigued by Dex and it's $1.70 on the sale. They've also got bit.trip runner which I've never played but know it's "big"
Here's the full list of games:
$0.17 / 0.17€
Mana Spark
Eyes: The Horror Game
REKT! High Octane Stunts
Not Not - A brain buster
Space Pioneer
Akane
Stencil Art
Koloro
Mini Trains
One Strike
Jumping Joe & Friends
#RaceDieRun
Gravity Rider Zero
Utopia 9
Rimelands: Hammer of Thor
Barbarous: Tavern of Emyr
Escape Doodland
Robonauts
Pocket Mini Golf
Puzzle Book
$1.70 / 1.70€
Dex
Blazing Beaks
Bit.Trip Runner
HyperParasite
Tharsis
Bit.Trip Beat
Bit.Trip Core
Bit.Trip Void
Bit.Trip Fate
Bit.Trip Flux
Akuto: Showdown
Coffee Crisis
Zombie Blast Crew
Death's Hangover
Welcome To Primrose Lake
Warlocks 2: God Slayers
Timothy and the Mysterious Forest
Any of these worth anything? I've got Death's Hangover already and it's... a little eh but not bad.

I loved bit trip beat, the first one, most of all, like playing the most stressful game of pong you ever experienced. bit trip runner games are fun for what they are but dont feel different from most mobile games, bit trip beat felt like its own cool thing

Interesting. I probably won't get it until it has a satisfye equivalent unless it's just a screen upgrade and then I probably won't get it period.
Unless it's the same size and just has smaller bezels and I can use my current stuff anyway

Though if it doesn't also upgrade the internals, I'll probably pass anyway tbh.

if its outputting 4k while docked like that says then its 100% having some upgrades underneath...likely using dlss or something to achieve 4k stuff

Yeah it seems like a waste to up your visual like that without making the processor able to handle more graphics heavy games. Shit if they can start porting ps4 era games over imagine the possibilities

You can’t just do DLSS though. That would require a GPU upgrade (currently requires tensor cores). Implementing it on a per game basis is still kinda tough as I understand it. Probably they’ll just upscale to 4K, unless it’s a big upgrade on the hardware (hopefully it is).
