I'm kinda itching for a core series 2d mario cuz I've been playing maker but I'm not crazy good at it so a lot of the user-created content is way too hard for me and the story mode levels are a lil too slight to be satisfying. haven't played another 2d mario since smw tho
I haven't checked it out yet but you may be interested in this full game made in MM2:

Turns what could be an isolating infuriating experience into a fun shared challenge
i love how people write about this game and blab's posts in the general videogame thread are also great but i think i'm going to skip it after watching a video. it just sounds too difficult and/or spooky for me
i think i'm going to pick up ori + slay the spire instead

Can you find specific people in Dark Souls on the Switch? I'd love to help a boarder out defeating a boss
Obviously to ask the question shows I didn't really spend much time playing multiplayer despite beating the game and having help in 1 or 2 bosses

I think I'm with Brent and feel that Dark Souls isn't the kind of game for me anymore.
My friend lent me Bloodbourne and if it's anything like that, I just couldn't get into it.

DS is not really dark and creepy as you'd think and it's not as hard as say, donkey Kong country tropical freeze

if you're into monhun at all generations ultimate is insane. so many different monsters in one game it's basically a greatest hits. a lot of people don't like styles/arts but i thought they were kinda fun to mess around with even though valor is absolutely broken with almost every weapon
i'm on the computer

I bought cuphead, slay the spire, and ori on sale today, pretty happy with my haul. Currently playing hollow knight, about 2/3rds done I think, it's a wonderful game.

Picked up Bomberman R for $10 and played it tabletop mode a bunch at tonite's thanksgiving party with my brother visiting from out of town.
Game is absolutely amazing for that very specific situation with a sibling

I’m thinking about picking up one of those Castlevania, Contra or arcade collections. Anyone have experience with these? Also is the final word on Mario Tennis that it’s a pass?

I have the first Mega Man one and downloaded the Capcom Beat Em Up set yesterday. I just get these to play on handheld during lunch. They're fun.

It's great to see so many people picking up Dark Souls.
I was never a hardcore gamer or whatever but I picked up these games and got completely obsessed/addicted. I hope people at least give it a try, its reputation is way more intimidating than the actuality at this point. If I can play and get reasonably good at these games I feel like basically anyone can.

Kinda surprised Target had such limited inventory for Mario Odyssey seeing as $30 basically guarantees they'd fly through them
