Does anyone know if FF7 & FF8 are getting physical releases? I tried Googling and found both yes and no answers :/

Doubt there'll be a physical version for the PS1 games unless they do a collection of them or something. X/X2 and XII got them as they're quite large games filesize wise. The placeholder listings that appeared on most sites have gone.

It's boring when Nintendo goes a week without announcing 20 games you want to buy

Dumb question - how difficult is Link's Awakening?

Part of the joy in BOTW was my daughter being able to climb mountains and ride the horse and cook meals, and as this isn't open world, just wondering if she'd find it daunting at all

I'd say it's pretty easy (not in a bad way) and that if she can play BOTW she can definitely play this one. The last boss is kind of tough if I remember though

it's a weird comparison to make as well, because basically the only trait they share as games or experiences is that you play as Link

if your daughter enjoys sort of aimless wandering around and playing in the open world then this isn't that game at all

Yes. But she loves BOTW so I will inevitably have to play this with her even if it's not the type of game she usually enjoys

You should play Pokemon Let's Go with your daughter. It's really the perfect game for playing with your kid.

It's basically the same mechanics as Link to the Past and I beat that game when I was like 5. She'll be okay.

I found a review from someone who hadn't played the game before, he said he needed a walkthrough guide on the final dungeons!

anyone remember the pause/screen warp glitch in the original LA, I used that so much to cheat in the dungeons. I remember you could also warp on top of walls, walk off-screen and be taken to just a random spot in the game

I’m 60 hours in and think I’m getting my wards the end of Fire Emblem (Edelgaard).

Really good game, although I’ve found normal mode to be too easy. I’ll probably play through it again on hard mode once the inevitable DLC drops
