They had like ten copies left at the one I went to. I know with Octopath, someone bought every copy at one of the Walmarts near me. I'm like within fifteen minutes of seven of them though.

yeah the walmart closest to me still has it at $49.94. if it was a few miles away instead of 30mi i'd definitely take the gamble. some people seem to flip for a living so i'd never assume anything. that brickseek site is really good, though. i wonder how they determine which stores have which items on clearance. they have to have an inside line to their computer system, so to speak.

Yeah it was weird. There were only two Walmarts in ABQ that had the $10 price point, but like every Walmart in the surrounding burbs and closest small cities did. I was going to those, though, so I'm glad it was at one a few minutes from my house.
someone has to approve those markdowns, so i understand why it’s on a store by store basis, i just don’t get how the site gets notified about it. i’ll keep an eye on it for the store closer to me.

its been really fun revisiting it after i ran out of steam at chapter 3 a while back. you just kind of have to meet it where it is. its not a great game to plow through because it gets repetitive (75 levels with a character who cant jump or attack will do that) but it is definitely. fun.
i was just there (got xenoblade!) and it said they had both #fe and ni no kuni on brickseek but i couldn’t find them anywhere. the guy was nice. oh well, great deal on xenoblade, good looking out tdl!
Of course. They did this about six months ago too, so we might get a few more, though probably not the major Nintendo games that sell really well. I have my fingers crossed for DQ11.
I keep wavering on whether to get atelier ryza 2. I played through the first game and enjoyed it, so why do I feel like I don't really care??
