i already made this tepid take out loud before but i'll stick it here, too. I am not so sure about dropping console sales predictions unless they see another hardware bottleneck. a fully realized pokemon game on the big screen, especially if its ambitious, especially since its also portable, will signal to ds players they need to upgrade. there is still a huge number that haven't i think. i mean right this will be twice as big as mario and zelda?

Mario Kart is generally bigger than Pokemon. Mario sometimes sells more. But what dropped sales predictions are you talking about? They lowered the forecast for this fiscal year, but that ends before a Pokemon comes out.

every single one of their games since gold and silver have had crippling performance issues. g/s would not run on a game boy color until nintendo had to send a team to rewrite almost all of their code.
