the park shows are cute and usually one or two that play make the day worth it.


for ambient music i like going to these venues for that: human resources, beta level, coaxial, sun space

didn't end up going to leaving records (went to a different outdoor party), but i'm definitely gonna bring a blanket, eat an edible, and chill at la tierra de la culebra one of these days

what are some good things to do/see on a drive between LA and palm springs? /or just things to do to kill a couple hours in palm springs?

driving out there with a friend who has never been and we're gonna have some spare time before the house we're staying at is ready and i can't think of anything

I've been perfecting one at work and yeah it's definitely reassuring to hear from all the Latino cooks that not only is it delicious but they never would've guessed it was vegan

It's super simple: coconut milk, raw sugar, salt, vanilla, and agar. I like a little orange juice in the caramel too. Only takes maybe 15 minutes (if you're really efficient) and sets very quickly. I'll copy down the recipe for you when I'm back in tomorrow morning.
