I saw it last night! I was surprised to find out it's R-rated because it's very tame overall. I guess they couldn't bear to cut instant classic scenes like a dog slurping jizz off Pontius's hand.

Cannonball Loop is in the movie but they don't make a big deal of it. It's a shame because it looks like they built a (smaller) loop that actually worked. I laughed but there weren't any moments kids would tell their friends they just HAVE to see. It wouldn't be worth watching at all without Knoxville's doomed huckster charm.

There were only five people in my theater, one of whom showed up late, alone and extremely wasted. He actually said "hee hee hee" when he laughed, which was basically every second that Pontius was on screen. He also cheered and clapped a lot and yelled "GIT 'IM" whenever the bear was on the loose.

But for the most part, no, no one saw this:

It ended up debuting to $2.3 million and finishing ninth, the worst opening of Knoxville's career and 23rd lowest-ever for a wide release. Deadline Hollywood attribute the low figure to the lack of Jackass stars in the film sans Knoxville, poor critical reviews and the difficulty of promoting an original R-rated comedy.
