Oh that's rad. iirc I was kinda disappointed with the LP I picked up, I remembered the music being a lot cooler in the movie.

The gold is limited to 250, I'm sure if you want a black one, some Trunk head would take it off you.

One of the record stores around here is located in a guitar and amp shop and they had 15% off pedals, so I picked up a Chase Bliss Dark World. Found a few records, but they were all in awful condition.

I happened to be by another record store and went in just to check out the pandemonium and walked out with a sealed clearance copy of Shadow by the Chromatics and What Time Is It by Morris Day and the Time. All the RSD releases were tragic

Decided to make a go of it this year, even though I can't stand this shit, because this one store had that Insides reissue. Luckily no one but me seemed to be interested in it so I was able to grab one. Most people wanted the weezer album and the Crow soundtrack.

i'm mostly just annoyed that they made it random and not for me to choose. any person who wants a basil kirchin record on colored vinyl is not someone i want to engage with.

You might be able to order the Frank Black LPs from Bull Moose on Monday at 7am EST when their leftovers go on sale.

I have originals of both of those that I somehow got for reasonable prices before their values skyrocketed. I saw one post about the new Teenager pressing sounding subpar but who knows.

I didn't go to a record store today, instead I got an oil change for Frau Artillery's car. I want to get the Watt + Ocampo + Ocampo 7" but I am certain that'll be easy to find.

Probably won't be hitting up a store until next weekend at the soonest. If they still have that Tangerine Dream album hanging around, I'll get it.

My local stores had Frank Black for days. What exactly were you looking for naturemorte? I bet they still have them.

just dropped the lineup for black friday. RSD is still entertaining as a semi-annual deluge of novelty releases.

can't wait to pick up all the classics

Willie Nelson - "Sometimes Even I Can Get Too High" b/w "It's All Going To Pot" (w/ Merle Haggard)
the soundtrack to the new Jay and Silent Bob Film
A Very Twiztid Christmas
the Satch's Surfing with the Alien on red and yellow vinyl
12" picture disc of "Santa's Going South for Christmas" by Sammy Hagar
macca's horny 7"

https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases

i would actually like that Wrens LP

not a huge fan of that Wrens record, but will try to get it, and hope it's part of a larger reissue plan to get The Meadowlands back in my hands (had to sell off my copy a few years ago)

I asked Charles on Twitter yesterday about this and he said they won’t see a dime from this Silver release.

Live at the Greek Theatre, Berkeley, CA, 9.24+ 9/25/2018 (The Mike Millard Method) The National 4AD 3 x Cassette 'RSD First' 1000

these obviously Dead-worshipping "cassette" bootlegs by The National are funny to me
