yeah, that looks really cool

the music feels a little too action-y for blade runner, but maybe that's just a teaser/trailer thing

the worst thing about this movie is they killed the only slightly compelling characters (and actors) in the first few mins and then we were stuck with their boring ass soldier son who you just wanted to see die.

About this thread subject, still intend to not ever see this movie. It's too bad because Villeneuve should be doing better stuff than this. It doesn't help that they cast two of the most hateable actors of all time in Gosling and Leto. There is no likely scenario in which i'm going to subject myself to this.

Mostly just relieved that Leto isn't playing DAMAGED Roy Batty Jr.

But I don't know, I guess they don't want to cut a trailer that's all mood & atmosphere... right? Not sure what else I should be optimistic about.

There's a Tron: Legacy-ness to all this that I can't quite shake.

Still remain interested, though.

I am still VERY excited but I remain cautious about the movie's beats and whether it will "feel" right

every film nowadays is super boring, and focusing way too much on action.

Becaue unfortunately action sells, just look at the latest Fast and Furious box office figures.
