post itt if you're gonna have a chill thanksgiving

probably gonna hang out on the couch, watch some movies, drink some beer and eat some delivery thai or something, fuck turkey

having no immediate family in the country can be pretty great :awful:

pretty much just me and my gf. i'm cooking a bunch of stuff but mainly we're just gonna drink too much wine and watch movies and smoke cigars if the weather holds up tomorrow.

roasted turkey roulade with fig & cranberry stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and some kind of stovetop mac & cheese that looked really awesome. and a chocolate pie. gf might make some lil popover rolls or something when she gets off work.

internetstrange, if you stay in the bay tomorrow, souley vegan in jack london square usually has a full holiday brunch with bottomless mimosas and it is legiiiiiit. we did that last year and i'm still dreaming of the cornbread dressing and chicken fried tofu

i don't know why but all the arborist equipment sites seem to take thanksgiving sales deadly seriously
so this thanksgiving has been even more chill than usual
thankful no one is turning up for christmas again though, cause i am broke af now

if you guys want a chill way to assert dominance in any setting these holidays, try displacing the emphasis in common phrases. e.g. "SOUL food," becomes "soul FOOD," "BALL bearings" becomes "ball BEARings", and so on
