Yeah I think they're now officially beyond the books, some chapters may be referenced depending on pacing of storylines but by and large its free. Now to judge if they can do a better job than Martin ever did.
THIS IMPACT WILL CONTROL ALL MARGINS

weird place to be... on one hand I'm more excited for this season than the past few by virtue of the fact its into uncharted territory, but at the same time their biggest deviations the past few seasons have been garbage city so. we'll see.

There are two GoT threads already, I don't think we need to merge them.

Hopefully it lures him back?

After last season I'm 90% into hatewatch territory but that's still no substitute for nef's full-on nerdrages when it comes to GoT.

"Come to think of it, I didn't care for A Dance With Dragons very much at all." There, now Nef's contribution to GoT threads has been accounted for and everyone else can get on with it.

There's nothing actually good on right now.

Except Always Sunny I guess, but that's like 20 minutes a week.

we're entering final season of boardwalk empire territory where everything is kind of a disaster and jesus christ you guys why did you make all these bad decisions, but it will still have its moments.
