How did the night scenes get ten times dumber? This is impressive.

There’s a rip with hard coded Korean subs online. I’d upload my rip to the place but the audio was slightly out of sync.

thank you lord!

watched it, i appreciated that the second half was mainly just total chaos and confusion. there were more visceral scares than i'd anticipated, like the bone monster, stabbings, fall off cliff. etc.

hard to even call the ending a "twist" since it was pretty clear from early on that there was some medical-related experiment occurring.

did anyone else catch some really awkward green screen + ADR during the grown up kids part on the beach toward the end

Yeah it wasn't really a twist IMO, it's not like we thought "oh what a normal beach and a normal resort that's sending people to it, also normal that there's a guy over there watching them." Might've been better without explaining though - they show back up at the resort and then cut to the Graduate "what now" helicopter moment & done.

I look at bluegrass music as this sort of glowing ball. The point is to relax the technique around the glowing ball of feeling.

ending your "trilogy" only to reveal that its the origin for an entire universe is insane and if I talk about the specifics then its definitely spoiler territory so I won't
but holy shit I loved this

Night has major issues as a writer which I'm sure we all agree on, but as a director I honestly, truly believe he's incredible at shooting action/horror w/ budget (and actor availability since as far as I know Bruce was only available for like, a week at best) constraints. There's a scene during the climax with the "showdown" where two kidnapped women are in a van and the "action" is filmed from the women's perspsective and you just see the screen shaking and quick flahses of the fight and dents being put into the van and that to me is just awesome film-making

i have a long defense for most of this stuff but i dunno if i should spoiler tag or not

it is def absolutely crazy to conclude a trilogy with the twist that he concluded it with but it's so audacious and after multiple (i won't lie to you fam...i'm on 4 watches) viewings it really is foreshadowed, but I admit not enough, but he fucking WENT FOR IT, more than 6th Sense, more than Unbreakable, more than any other movie where he was like "fuck I need a twist" and to me it worked. I have issues with how it played out and could type "here is how I perfect this" but I hate youtube fucks who do that

this was an incredibly directed, questionably written movie...and we are all the better for having people like M. Night making movies like this.

Cancel me....but I will rise again, this I promise you

alright i gotta watch this

endo did you ever end up watching this and having any feelings on it?
i wish i could access my account

uh. except the jost account was deleted but still
most people hated glass but i've found people who love it for the same reasons and like in that post i thought you would be one of them
i dunno
they need to let Night do whatever he wants to be honest
if it sucks for everyone or it rules for one (me)

like i love him for just like this
just the release date i can't think of any people who would post a "teaser" that is literally just this
he rules
i'm so glad he gave up on shit like after earth and airbender
i coul type forever on this but he's a master of horror and nothing else
and there's nothing wrong with that! and i'm happy he seems to have realized it

In Glass he retcons his cameo from Unbreakable and his cameo in Split to be the same guy. Hitchcock could never
