WW #12: Mason Island // WEREWOLF MASON VICTORY

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

and that is why you don't reveal that the seer was killed.

bread also told snatch to lay off gramma?

adamtrask [12:25 PM]
and LOD

[12:25]
which could mean 2 things

[12:25]
she was legit trying to protect the identity of the seer

[12:25]
or she knew he was getting offed

mudd [12:25 PM]
or one of them took that info and arranged for his offing.

adamtrask [12:25 PM]
oh true

[12:26]
yeah snatch could've gleaned that, i guess

mudd [12:26 PM]
it was what i thought when she told me to lay off him too.

adamtrask [12:27 PM]
damn

[12:27]
i didn't realize she was broadcasting that so obviously

mudd [12:27 PM]
that is really bad news.

[12:27]
either supper canny tactics from the good wolf, or super sloppy play from the mini-cabal.

adamtrask [12:29 PM]
yeah and I'm not sure which

[12:30]
but if you assumed Gramma was seer, we can probably assert that snatch assumed the same

mudd [12:31 PM]
yeah that's what i'm thinking.

let's go back to this since we voted one way on it and it didn't go our way

Alright. Again, sorry guys. I saw a discrepency and I got tunnel vision. Sorry to mudd most of all, who I didn't realize wasn't actually available to properly defend himself.

As much as I've distrusted alice lately, I'm putting that out of my mind. Same goes for bread and myself. Each of us could be the good-scanning wolf, but if we focus on that, we lose valuable time and energy that can be used to out the rest of the wolves. Plus, as the wolves start to night kill, they'll likely be killing the three of us, making that decision easier to make (if necessary) down the road.

With that said, here are the remaining people who were not scanned:

kit fox
snatch
galactagogue
ankh
adamtrask

Who is most suspicious of these people?

We've got a 2 in 5 (or 3 in 5 if alice bread and I are all good) chance of hitting a wolf. Let's take it.

of that list, their moves last phase (let me know if i missed a vote change or rescission)

kit fox galactagogue (1) > mudd (3)
snatch adamtrask (2) > rescind > no vote
galactagogue lod (1)
ankh snatch (3)
adamtrask alice (1)

there was a discrepancy in mudd's recounting of events. it really really didn't look good for him. that's the truth

The fact of the matter is, right now there are eight players. That means its 5 masons against 3 wolves. If we miss today, the wolves achieve parity after the next night phase. We have to narrow down the suspect list.

Snatch wrote:If I had to guess, and I've been wrong all fucking game, Kit Fox is a wolf. Public participation has been mostly to make one-liner vote posts, after having an important role and being active last game, so I'm not sure what there even is to be tired of.

I don't know which one of Bread, Alice, or Surly is a wolf, but it might be two of them.

I agree that the second paragraph folks are all suspicious but it cant be two of them because they all scanned clean if the popular narrative is to be believed.

Regarding the first, I'm just tired. My brain is fried. I spent a half an hour today scraping piss crystals out of a toilet and now I have a meeting I am scrambling to prepare for in fifteen minutes. I thought I'd have more time for the game this week but I was wrong.

Unless we're actually going to have a conversation about the actual suspicious people here and not throw out random guess, this is the only thing that makes sense:

Snatch wrote:No Kill

One more mislynch ends the game. Doesn't matter when it is; we only have one, and I'd rather be choosing among 7 people than among 8.

Unless Alice is a Wolf and the Stick gives them a double kill, but if so, you know, fuck it.

Ankh: If you're Good, you should consider that I had the chance to tie the vote up Day 5, without involving anyone else, and did not:

snatch [2:32 PM]
if not saving my own ass as a wolf when i didn't need to bring anyone else into it doesn't persuade you

[2:32]
idk what will

lod [2:33 PM]
That was definitely noted

so you're going to vote to kill me instead of that suspicious scanned person

one who, if bad (and i dunno), wields much more power than i do

Yes. I see the no kill argument though.
