There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

Do it!

Fake backchanneling is awesome as hell. I don't feel so bad for losing now.

I might need to run some of this by someone else to see if they think it will work and for help in balancing it. If anyone is interested in helping run it, let me know.

Bread is kind of a WW champ in every sense of the word. Like, innate champ.

well

we knew if alice and lod died and i didn't things wouldn't look great for me, but if they didn't die they would look hella sus

so we went with the "maybe the wolves are seer hunting" strategy

I was so obsessed with ww10 connections I made a mess of that.

Anyway, awesome game. Doesn't feel bad to lose like this.

I've sent the idea to palmer. If you still want to help out, too, you can, but I'll let you have the option of playing if you want.

I cant articulate enough how insanely good of a meta play this was and I dont know how to accurately describe how ballsy this plan was and how perfectly it was executed

Stuff that happened weeks and weeks ago made it possible. Incredible play.

I'm just glad it was fake. The idea of the bread/trask duo splitting was rough.

Sorry for being really, really bad at this. I was pretty sold on trask being a wolf for a little while, was getting there with bread once gramma died, and had basically no clue about Ankh. Fuck yeah!

One trap that still befalls many of us sometimes -- and this is a very human failing because our brains are hard-wired to make sense of the universe via patterns, so we tend to perceive them where they aren't -- is letting what was true the last game have too much weight when we're trying to figure out what is going on in the current game. We do all need to remember that the role generation is random and someone being a wolf last time doesn't make them more (or even less) likely to be a wolf the next time.

It happens to all of us at least some of the time.

I think Surly got tripped up by this pretty badly when he thought Granger was a Transylvania-inspired N1 kill choice, and he honed in WW10 wolves me and Goggles -- especially Goggles -- this time around, and he was dead wrong on both of us.

For that matter I feel like I fell victim to this in regards to Kit Fox as well.

We all should be mindful of this, though, because we're all vulnerable.

My mistake was the axiom of dealing with VHB: if he appears helpful he's evil. If he's a useless sack of shit, he's good.

bread, I said a way long ago that if LOD and Alice were kept alive by a wolf to sow confusion it was probably you. So well done. And I still love you forever and ever.

Oh I definitely was. Hence my saying me but especially her.

But no, you were on her earlier than that.

But hey, you finally wore her down at the end and got her to cast a give-up vote, which was a huge help. :)
