i'm lost.

years ago, or years from now, i was controlled by something that wasn't me. somewhere along the line it died, or left, or something happened and now the only one left is me and i am bereft. and lost.

i'm not entirely lost. i remember my name is vixen mudder. i remember that everyone calls me mudd. but i don't know how i came to be here, be now. this isn't my home.

i remember school. i was always an anxious child, searching for patterns in the words of others, reading between the lines in the newspapers and stories and lies. but now i don't feel like i would even know what to find.

i remember the drugs. i don't know what they were, i remember a little baggie and an urge i couldn't control and then blackness and then i woke up

well i woke up here. except this isn't my home. this isn't my time i'm older now, and still alone in my mind. at least, i think i'm alone.
