surprised no one has mentioned how there seemed to be like several direct references to Twin Peaks The Return

some stylistic, others like basically full on cribbing.

Yeah, I encountered this shit, too. The first time you see Toni Collette flyingToggle Spoiler, some dumb assholes laughed. wtf, why are you laughing? Then they continued to laugh every time it happened and the annoying old guy behind me said, "Oh, jeez" as if he wasn't the one who theorized that a human family was actually living inside a miniature.

no way. the first one does indeed suck big time. and like rixx said the second one is phenomenal especially for its budget.

Well yeah I mean I had a low key chuckle here and there. I think some of the acting choices, like the one you mentioned, flirted with melodrama and camp juuuuust enough to warrant a light reaction. But for some people that meant bust a gut

I liked it but go in and try to forget the hype along with anything you've seen.

My theater audibly gasped at this line. It was a half full audience, mix of teens and adult couples. I was worried during the previews because everyone was loud but it seemed like we were all completely drawn into the film and while there was also laughter, it was totally tension relieving /nervous. Film ruled. Best movie I've seen on the big screen in ages.

they fit true to size but maybe a liiiittle big - for reference i'm 5'10" and wearing a medium in that pic so it'll probably shrink to perfect size (it's a bit long currently).
